Pumpkin pie


  • 1 pumpkin (about 2 kg)
  • 5 sheets pie (Recipe here: http://cristina-kitchen.blogspot.com/2008/10/sheets-pie.html)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 125 g butter / margarine
  • + / - Vanilla essence
  • + / - Spices that you like

Peel the pumpkin and seeds and cut the pumpkin using a fine kitchen rasp. Steel (temper) the pumpkin in butter / margarine (20-30 minutes), add sugar and vanilla essence and the spices and steel it 5 minutes. Grease the pan with butter/oil using a napkin. Place a piece of pie in the tray, pumpkin, the second sheet, pumpkin ... until the last sheet. Rotate the edges. Grease with egg and make small holes for ventilation.
Put in the oven on the middle, on medium fire until crisp (about 45 minutes)
